Obituary for Mary Elizabeth Hillman
Mary Elizabeth Hillman passed peacefully on January 9, 2021, at age 74. She was born in Bronx, New York, on June 14, 1946, to John and Loretta (Bender) Mulrooney. During her young adulthood, she married the love of her life, Kenneth B. Hillman on February 20, 1971. Kenneth and Mary relocated to Miami, Florida, and lived a loving and blessed life for 21 wonderful years. During these years, Kenneth and Mary were highly active in their church, Perrine Peters United Methodist Church in Miami, FL. For a short time, Mary worked as a respiratory therapist. However, she spent most of her life as the caring, loving, and giving person we know, and love. Mary was always willing to share whatever she had with others. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth Hillman, and her sister Meriam (Mickey) Ratel. She is survived by her son Mark Hillman (Tonya), her daughter Dorothy Bauer (Shawn), her stepdaughter Donna Hayashi (Darry), and her stepson John Hillman. Mary has many grandchildren; David Hayashi (Sharon), Kellye Hayashi, Robyn Killmer (Travis), Stephen Hillman, Leah Hillman, Stephanie Visger, Jacob Hillman, Samantha Hillman, Jenna Hillman, and Natasha Hillman. Her three great-grandsons loved her: Dylan, Lucas, Chase Killmer, and her great-granddaughter Piper Hillman. All will greatly miss her. The celebration of Mary’s life will be Wednesday, January 20, 2021, @ 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Beulah, 5805 Beulah Church Rd, Pensacola Fl 32526. Pastor Jed Miller will be officiating. Mary will be laid to rest with her dearly beloved Kenneth on Friday, January 22, 2021, at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fl, at 1:30 pm.
