William Howe 'Bill' Fisher Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

William Howe “Bill” Fisher, Jr., 51, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 20, 2011 after a battle with cancer. Bill was a veteran of the U. S. Coast Guard and a graduate of Escambia High School. He was a Construction Superintendent and enjoyed a lengthy career managing several Rent to Own companies. Bill‘s most treasured position was working with his boys, Shane and Steven, retrofitting housing for hurricanes. Bill loved family and friends, fishing, and food and was his happiest when he combined them all. His delicious grilling, story telling, and ready laughter will be remembered and missed by all. He was preceded in death by his father, William Howe Fisher, Sr. and is survived by his loving wife Jacquelyn “Jackie” Bush Fisher, three children Danielle, Allen (Sara), and Shane (Amber). He was “PopPop“ to six grandchildren, Tyler, Alyssa, Elkon, Klyson, Mason, Vivian with number seven due in June. He is also survived by his mother, Shirley Bouchillon Fisher, a brother, Thomas Alston, his favorite sister, Jennifer Fisher Miles, and numerous family members and friends A Memorial Service will be at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at St. John the Evangelist Church. A private burial will be held at a later date.
