Vandrew 'Skeet' Arnette
October 11, 1929 - August 19, 2012
Vandrew Arnette, born October 11, 1929, left his earthly home for his heavenly home Sunday, August 19, 2012. Vandrew was a man of all men. He was a hard worker and always found something to keep him busy. He loved our travels into the mountains, hog hunting and fishing until a couple of years ago he decided for safety sake to sell our motor home and boat. Then he turned to his favorite hobby of gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Arnette and Ruby Barlow and his five siblings: Dorothy Welch, Leslie Arnette, Dallas Arnette, Joyce Watson and David Arnette. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Mae Young Arnette; three children: Larry (Jennifer) Arnette of Gateswood, AL; Lewis (Brenda) Arnette; Brenda (Eddie) King of Cantonment, FL; three stepchildren whom he loved and treated as his own: Teresa Clay of Thomasville, GA; Carol (Glenn) Ard of Perdido Key, FL; and Rhonda (Lewis) Martin of Vacaville, CA; the mother of his children, Carrie Thames, and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. Pallbearers will be Glenn Ard, Nate Martin, Justin Mullins, Toby Arnette, Doug Ard, and Ricky Butler. Visitation will be Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 12:00 pm until the 1:00 pm funeral service at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. Burial will follow in Hinote Cemetery in Rosinton, AL (Old Brady Rd. Baldwin County, AL) FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME SOUTH, 100 Beverly Parkway, Pensacola, FL is in charge of arrangements. You may express your condolences online at www.fcfhs.com.
