Stephanie Jo Wood

Stephanie Jo Wood, a resident of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at West Florida Hospital. She was born December 17, 1966 at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. She graduated from Woodham High School in 1984. She attended Trevecca Nazarene College in Nashville, Tennessee. She worked at Northwest Florida Blood Center for 19 years. She had a kidney transplant in 1993, given by her Aunt Gloria. The kidney lasted for 17 years. She then went on dialysis for 10 years, receiving a new kidney in November 2020. She was ready to go back to work in May at Navy Federal Credit Union but God had different plans. She is now in the presence of Jesus. She attended “The Dwelling Place” and was an elder of The Dwelling Place and a founding member. She was a board member of Eagle Worldwide Ministries. She is survived by her parents, Jim and Elaine Wood; brother, Mark Wood. She also leaves her special aunts and uncles and special cousins. Pallbearer: David Wood, Gene Wood, Solomon Wood, Nicholas Wood, Richard Barker, and Adam Opava. Donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation in memory of Stephanie Wood.
