On January 4, 2022, Sharon Leeann Scull Johnson passed away after a long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Sharon was born January 16, 1951 in Muncie, Indiana and shortly thereafter moved to Pensacola, Florida which remained her home. She was the eldest of six children to Shirley Ann Thompson and James Donald Thompson. In October of 1982 she married the love of her life, John Wesley Johnson. They remained inseparable until his death in 2018. Sharon loved relaxing at the beach, spending time with her family and dogs and serving the public as a waitress for over 40 years. Sharon never met a stranger! Sharon is preceded in death by John Wesley Johnson (Husband), James Daniel Thompson (Brother), Shirley Ann Thompson (Mother), James Donald Thompson (Father), Raymond Wessel (Grandfather), Annette Wessel (Grandmother), Charles Thompson (Grandfather) and Nellie Thompson (Grandmother). She is survived by Crystal Johnson Lampert (Travis), Keven Mitchell Pate, Cathy (Randy) Vann, Eddie (Trisha) Scull, Bill (Kim) Thompson, Suzan (Brian) Sommers, many nieces and nephews and her beloved dogs (Bailey, Petey, Kobi) and granddogs (Snoopy, Delilah). A memorial will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Faith Chapel South. Visitation from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. with the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Joy Committee or Amazing Grace Bully Rescue.
