Obituary for Chris Martin
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chris, our beloved husband, son, father, brother, friend and “Boss Man”, on February 19, 2021.
Chris was born on July 17, 1963 in Pensacola, FL to his loving parents Patricia Ann and Robert H. Martin. He is preceded in death by his mother and survived by his father.
Chris was the Operations Manager for Phoenix Coatings and has been a big part of the Phoenix Family, alongside his mentors and champions George and Louise Atchison, for 33 years. He was also a member of the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI), the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) and Krewe of Faux Pas.
Chris is survived by his devoted wife Pamela Savage. Chris and Pam were high school sweethearts and reunited in 2013. They married June 19th, 2015 and were inseparable since.
Chris is also survived by his daughters Stacey Ann Martin and Sarah (Robert) Vigil, his son Adam (Kenzie) Bradshaw, his granddaughter Chloe Ann Martin, his grandson Samuel Keith Wilkerson, his siblings Timothy “Scott” (Tammy) Martin, Jeffrey “Todd” (Angela) Martin, Lisa Mattson, Mikeal (Shelley) Martin, Raná Martin, Donna (Daniel) Johnson, Eric Martin and many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
Chris was OUR Champion - a loving, genuine, fun, hilarious, generous, selfless provider and confidante. Chris was the embodiment of family and friendship and will be deeply missed and extremely loved always. So many lives were enriched because of him and will never be the same without him. With Chris, “what you see is what you get” and he gave us so much. We celebrate his life and find comfort in the memory of his spirited voice, his infectious laughter and his undying love.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 27, 2021, from 4:00 to 4:30 PM, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. Funeral Service will follow at 4:30 PM. Rev. Bryan Mack will be officiating.
