Ralph Fields 1929-2011 Ralph Fields, age 82 of Pensacola, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 25, 2011. He was born in Caryville, Tennessee on August 17, 1929. He primarily worked as a machinist and retired from Armstrong World Industries, Inc. in 1989. He gained a respect for the outdoors at an early age growing up in the mountains of Tennessee. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being involved in his church, Smyrna Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Robbie Fields of Pensacola; daughter, Sharon Molder (Gary) of Canton, MS; son, Johnny Fields (Debra) of Pensacola; daughter, Michelle Carmichael (Shane) of Gulf Breeze, FL; two granddaughters Amy Shotwell(Roland) and Mikayla Carmichael; three grandsons, John Fields(Helen), Branden Grassman (Katie), Caleb Carmichael and four great granddaughters, Lilly Villalpando, Ivey Fields, Rosanna Shotwell and Kassandra Shotwell; one great grandson Braddock “Bam Bam” Grassman. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to Smyrna Baptist Church, 7000 South Pensacola Blvd., Pensacola, FL 32505, in Honor of Ralph Fields, to benefit the Bus Ministry. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Smyrna Baptist Church.
