Myra Jean Williams Booker

Myra Jean Williams Booker, age 78 of Lenoir, NC, formerly Cantonment, FL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 1, 2022. She was born to the late Murray Williams and Emma Jean Williams on May 2, 1943. Myra was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, James “Bo” Booker. She is survived by her son, James “Jay” Booker, Jr., and her daughter, Kelli Booker Holley and her husband Mark, and her only grandson, Jacob Andrew Holley, whom she absolutely adored. Myra met Bo at a very young age, and he grew to be the love of her life. They graduated from Tate High School in Gonzalez, FL, got married and raised a family together. In retirement they traveled the world. Whether it was relaxing at a beach campsite, or discovering new landscapes and cultures of Europe, Myra loved to travel. Myra also loved to read mystery novels, listen to the Eagles, attend Florida State University football games, and tell you about her grandson. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Faith Chapel North, 1000 S Highway 29, Cantonment, FL.
