Michael Alen Ward, age 38, of Pensacola went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 18, 2011, surrounded by his family. Michael was a member of Local Union #55 of Mobile, AL. He is survived by his mother, Joyce R. Ward; sister, Jennifer Renee Ward Sherman; niece, Ashley Sherman; three step children, Nathaniel Yates, Andrea Yates, Athena Yates; three grandchildren, Ozzy, Brandon,Jr. and Amberly; lifelong best friends, Cindy Coll and John Thomas; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and many friends. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Caitlyn. Michael will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South, 100 Beverly Pkwy. Reverend Joe McNulty will be officiating.
