Mary Edith Baggette Ousley

Mary Edith Ousley, age 95 of Pensacola, FL passed away on Monday, October 10, 2011. Ms. Ousley was born on February 6, 1916 in Bay Minette, Alabama. She held many jobs during her years but two of her favorites were manager at Spanish Fort Restaurant and bookkeeper at the San Antonio Music Company. She and JW spent many wonderful and happy years in San Antonio, Texas before moving back to the southeast and settling in Pensacola. Mary was very proud of and active in her church, East Brent Baptist Church, and loved eating out after Sunday services with her “buddies”. Her great sense of humor and wonderful stories will be missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Ousley; mother, Mabel Baggette; father, LeRoy Baggette; sister, Ablerta Baggette; brothers, Lee Baggette, Eddie Baggette, and Jimmie Baggette and many beloved aunts and uncles. She is survived by many cousins and her nephew, Larry Baggette and his family, and niece, Sherrie Kile and her family. They will always smile and remember their “Aunt Mimi” with tremendous affection. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South with Dr. Dale Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at Bay Minette City Cemetery, Bay Minette, AL. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.
