Marcus Wayne Hilburn passed away on December 2, 2021, at his home in Cantonment, Florida, with his wife Linda by his side. Wayne was born September 4, 1944 in Andalusia, Alabama. From 1965 through 1967 he served in the US Army and within those short two years received the following medals: Parachute Badge, Vietnam Service Medal, Air Medal, Combat Infantryman's Badge, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and a Purple Heart. Wayne a.k.a. "Pork Chop" retired from civil service at NAS Pensacola, as a Foreman, where he made many long lasting friendships. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Duward and Mini Mae, his son Danny, his brother-in-law's James, Lynn, and Levon, and his nephews Tommy and Mark. He is survived by his wife Linda, his daughter , Lisa (Rob) St. Pierre; his siblings Jeanette, Shirley (Larry), and Mary; his grandchildren Alex, Victoria, Cameron, Brooke (Nick), and Haley; and his great granddaughter Laurel. His pallbearers are Alex Hilburn, Cameron Swanson, Rob St.Pierre, Jeff Doggette, Mason Doggette, Andy Ordonia, Jimmy Mason, and J.R. Flowers. The memorial will be held Saturday, December 11, at Ensley United Methodist Church: 9am Public Viewing ,10am Service, 11am Burial at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Celebration meal to follow also at Ensley United Methodist
