Lucy was born in Melvindale, a suburb of Detroit, Michigan on February 22, 1928 to Joseph and Clara (Kresmer) Kane. They relocated to Florida in 1969, eventually settling back in Pensacola in 1972 to be near family and enjoy their love of golf.
