Lanada Lambert Pegram

September 7, 1948 - November 5, 2021

Lanada Lambert Pegram was born on September 17, 1948 and returned to our Lord on November 5, 2021. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years, Allen Pegram, her mother and father, and brothers Glen, Larry, and Stan. Lanada is survived by her daughters, Robin Wichmann (Keith) and Patricia Downing (Sean) and her grandchildren Madison and Grace Wichmann, Luke and Cole Downing, and Taylor Downing, and sister Barbara Mitchell and brother Don Lambert. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Lanada was, first and foremost, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She supported her husband in his military career and was the backbone of her family. She (should have) earned aviation wings alongside Allen. Always at the ready, Lanada kept her family with love and grace and never asked "AGAIN?" 'Nada always took her family's lifestyle in stride. Lanada achieved many professional goals including her Master's Degree in Business and Administration from Troy University. She was top of her class at all levels of her education and was president of Pi Gamma Mu academic honor society and served as president while at University of Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton, TX. Lanada was a lifelong lover of words, painting, and most notably helping her children and grandchildren learn and grow into loving and secure individuals. Lanada's overarching personality trait can best be described as one who puts others above her own needs. She is a generous and gentle soul who will be missed by everyone who knew her.
