Karen Moulyet Farr (53) went to be with the Lord on September 9, 2011 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Karen was born November 6, 1957, in Mobile, AL, to the late Noland and Mary Louise Moulyet, and lived most of her life in the Pensacola area. She loved the Lord and served Him in all aspects of her life. She influenced many lives as a professional educator for 31 years at Pea Ridge Elementary and served faithfully at Olive Baptist Church. Her beautiful smile and wonderful personality lit up any room she entered. She blessed others with her gift of hospitality and shared her green thumb with everyone. She had a deep love for her family second only to her love for Christ. She is survived by her husband of almost 33 years, Houston; children, Allen (Ashley), Kristen (Trey) Fondren; uncles and aunts, George and Frances Robison, Danny and Sherry Willis and family; brothers, Tommy (Carla) Moulyet and family, Brian (Lisa) Moulyet and family, and numerous other loved relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Olive Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Eastern Gate Cemetery. Karen loved children and would love to see others serving in a children’s ministry. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Olive Baptist Children’s Ministry in her name. James 1:2-4.
