Judy Elizabeth Reid Higdon Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Judy Elizabeth Reid Higdon passed away peacefully November 26, 2021. Judy was born on August 28, 1942 in Garland, AL to Judson and Frances Reid and reborn July 1952 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Garland, AL. She graduated from McKenzie High School and Massey-Draughon Business College. Judy was a longtime member of Olive Baptist Church. Judy is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ron Higdon; children Ronda (Mark) Hughes and Keith (Stacy) Higdon; grandchildren Mark Hughes, Michael Hughes, Katherine Higdon and Kayleigh Higdon; great-grandsons Brantley Arnold, Ryan Hughes and Brayden Higdon-Lloyd; and brother Shelton Reid (Linda). We extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at Regency Hospice, especially Kathy and Salena. Funeral services for Judy will be held at Olive Baptist Church, 1836 E. Olive Road, Pensacola, FL on Saturday December 4th. Visitation will be at 1:00 and Service at 2:00. Officiating will be Pastor Dr. Jerry Passmore. Burial will be at Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola, FL on Monday December 6th at 2:00. Active pallbearers will be Mark Hughes, Mark D Hughes, Michael Hughes, Stacy Reid, David Reid, and Rick Beck.
