Howard F. Tracy passed away at his home surrounded by his family of March 9th, 2022. He was born in Westfield, MA, on July 28th, 1936, to William and Annie Tracy. He was a proud Veteran, serving in the USMC during the Korean War, then enlisting in the US Army during the Vietnam War, he continued to serve his Country and retired after 20 years of Military Service, then retired as an accountant at NAS Pensacola. Howard was known for his incredible, witty and sometimes unexpected sense of humor. If you knew him, you loved him. There is no dark spot left behind because he always made it shine. He will be sadly missed, but will always be loved through the memories he has made in Life’s Journey. Howard was a great supporter of his family and loved them dearly, one of his favorite things to do in life was to fish with his brothers and sisters. Howard was recently preceded in death by his loving wife and soulmate of 63 years, Margaret Tracy, and his granddaughter Kristin Ashlee. He leaves behind 4 children, Patricia Tuttle, Kathleen Emond, Christine Beisheim, and Howard L Tracy, 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. A committal service will take place at Barrancas National Cemetery for both Howard and Margaret on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 1;30 PM. The procession will leave Faith Chapel Funeral Home South at 1:00 PM for Barrancas National Cemetery.
