Denson Ray "Dennie" Hendricks

December 18, 1936 - April 13, 2022

Denson Ray “Dennie” Hendricks, 85, went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on April 13, 2022. He was born on December 18, 1936 to George A. and Helen Hendricks, from Shingler, Georgia. He was in the Air Force for four years from 1959-1963. He was a faithful church member and served as an usher for many years at Faith Baptist Church. He was a really good “cheese grits” cooker for Men’s Prayer Breakfast for several years. He was a great and wonderful father to his three sons. He and his loving wife, Myrna were married for 46 years. Dennie is preceded in death by his parents, George A. and Helen Hendricks; his two brothers, Marvin Hendricks, Donald Hendricks, and sister, Anne Lowery. Dennie is survived by his very loving wife, Myrna L. Hendricks, his son’s, Bradley Scott Hendricks, Alan Ray Hendricks (Connie) and George William (Michelle) Hendricks, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Service will follow at 11:00 AM. Pastor Jeff Bailie will be officiating. Interment will be at Bayview Cemetery. Flowers are welcomed or a monetary donation to Faith Baptist Church.
