Charley R Nibarger Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Charley Rae Nibarger, 89, of Pensacola, FL went to be with his Heavenly Father late evening on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. Charley was born on August 25, 1932 in Miami, Oklahoma. Charley is survived by his beloved wife Darlene, who he affectionately called “Dolly” as they celebrated 20 years of marriage, his son Kelly Nibarger, Brewton, AL and a special granddaughter Carma Nibarger, Chicago, IL, other family members include 2 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 2 great-great grandchildren and extended family members. Charley loved First Pentecostal Church and had great respect for his Pastor, Brian Kinsey. Charley believed what the church stood for and was a faithful giver. Charley served in the Navy twenty years and during that time was stationed in Hawaii, England and Arlington, Virginia. During his years of military service Charley earned the National Defense Service Medal, the Navy’s Good Conduct Medal and the Navy’s Achievement Medal. Charley had a second family in Darlene’s daughters and their families, they loved Charley and enjoyed spending time with him and “Dolly.” The family wishes to thank the in-home care provided by the team at Covenant Hospice and Melissa Geiser, friend and caregiver. Pallbearers will include Johnathon Burrill, Bill Dunphy, Gary Hardy, Christopher Jordan, Justin White, Keith White. Services will be held Thursday, August 4, 2022 at First Pentecostal Church, located on 6485 Pensacola Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32505. The family will receive friends at 10:30 am. The service will begin at 11:30 am. First Pentecostal Church will livestream the service at http://firstpent.org/live-stream and on their Facebook page. Charley will be laid to rest on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Barrancas National Cemetery at 11:00 am. Roll time at 10:00 am from Faith Chapel Funeral Home South, 100 Beverly Parkway Pensacola, Florida.
