Boyce Dorough

October 2, 1951 - January 29, 2022

Boyce Farrell Dorough was 71 years old born in Andalusia, Al with twin Joyce Carrol Dorough to Odessa and Johnny Dorough on Oct. 2 1951. Boyce worked offshore as a Marine Engineer for many years but his real passion and joy was his beloved family. He was very close to his Mother Odessa Lancieri whom he is with now in heaven along with his father Johnny Dorough, oldest brother Jimmy Dorough, oldest sister Sarah Dorough, brother in law Jerry Davis and beautiful niece Rachel Davis. His greatest gift was his unconditional love. He loved with his whole heart and wasn’t afraid to tell his family how much they meant. He married Beverly Enfinger and they had three girls Larissa,Amber, and Lisa. His world revolved around them and his seven grandchildren whom he was Papa to. He called his girls his ALL (Amber,Larissa,Lisa). Not a day went by that they ever had to wonder if he loved them or would be there in their time of need. He was always there with love, kindness, and piece of mind. Ready to help or solve any problem he could for them no matter what. When you needed him he was there, and happy to help do any and everything for his family. He was a selfless man and thought his purpose on this earth was to be their Father. A good one he was too. Boyce was diagnosed with cancer on Jan.11 2022 and his soul left this earth on Jan. 28 just 18 days later with his family right by his side just like wanted. He had given his life to the lord on many occasions and is now rejoicing with his Heavenly Father and his family. He is survived by is twin sister Joyce Davis in which they had a very close and special bond and her son Jeremy Davis. His youngest brother David Alan Lancieri and his son Jacob Lancieri. Oldest daughter Larissa Fortson, son in law Michael Fortson, and grandsons Taylor and Braiden Cheek Middle daughter Amber Dorough and grandsons Hayden Hobbs and Tristan Dorough whom was more like a son to him. Youngest daughter Lisa Donovan, son in law Tim Donovan with granddaughters Averie Mathews, Ella and Ivey Donovan. He will be greatly missed and memory cherished by all who have known and loved him especially his girls. His big heart and unconditional love will be carried on by his family. The family join us for our celebration of his life Feb. 3 2020. Service from 11-12pm and we will gather for food, family, and memories of our beloved Papa directly after in their event room 12-3pm.
