Bill Gordon Bostic

April 12, 1953 - February 11, 2022

Bill Gordon Bostic, 68 years old, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on February 11th, 2022. He was born on April 12th, 1953 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was a decorated US Marine Drill Sergeant who served two tours in Vietnam and served as a member on the US Marine Mounted Color Guard. Bill was loved by many friends and family. And while, Bill loved all his family and friends, his mom held a special place in his heart, as did his Aunt Leda. His dog Junior was his constant companion and was able to spend time with him the day he passed. Bill is survived by his loving mother, Ada Ruth Edwards, 87 of Pensacola, Florida; his sisters, JR (Janice) Thorsen of Molino, Florida and Cheri Watson of Pace, Florida, his step-sisters Susie and Catherine Owens, and step brother, Ike Owens. He is also survived by a large extended family consisting of many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn; grandparents, Jefferson and Elizabeth Ayers; a loving uncle, Johnny Ayers; and a loving cousin, Sheryl Downey. In Lieu of flowers, the family is requesting potted plants.
