Barbara Dale Smith was born April 6, 1942 and passed away June 7, 2022 at her home in Abbeville, AL. Barbara is preceded in death by her father and mother (Roy & Elizabeth Moore), a brother (Robert Moore), and daughter (Deborah Donnenwirth). Barbara is survived by her loving husband (Robert), children James (Tracy) and Judy Pinette (Steve), and grandchildren Jesse Lucio, Raeann Merchant (Zahir), Lindsay Barnes (Kaleb), Alex Donnenwirth, and John Pinette. Barbara was a graduate of Logansport High School in Indiana, and the University of West Florida in Florida. She traveled extensively with Robert during his Navy career. In 1984, she and Robert started Smith Business Services in Pensacola, FL and semi-retired in 2006 when they sold the business and moved to Abbeville, AL. Her family and many friends will miss her dearly. Funeral services are set for 3:30 pm Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South in Pensacola, FL. Visitation will be from 2:30 to 3:30 PM. Pastor Randy Greene will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
