Amber Koestler

The family requests we gather to remember and celebrate Amber's life. Amber’s smile could light up a room. She brought joy to many and is loved by many. We will gather at Faith Chapel Funeral Home, 100 Beverly Parkway, Pensacola, FL, on Saturday, February 19, 2022; gathering at 9:00 a.m. and have a remembrance service at 10:00 a.m. Amber Lynn Koestler, 42, of Pensacola, Florida died Sunday, January 23, 2022. She was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross U.S. 29 in Escambia County. Amber was the child of Leo Robert Koestler, Jr. and Lindy Lou Murphy. She was born on Monday, August 6, 1979, in Dayton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her father, Leo Robert Koestler, Jr. Amber is survived by her son, Justin Mullins, of Pensacola, Florida, her mother and stepfather, Lindy and Bobby Cline of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, her brother, Benjamin Lowery, of Dayton, Ohio, her sister Alyson Koestler of Pensacola, Florida, sister Myryah Cline of Santa Rosa Beach, Fl and nephews Caleb Rogers of Fort Walton Beach, FL and Malikye Tully of Pensacola, FL. She is also survived by her Aunt Gloria (Don) Marini and her much loved cousin, Brenton McClellan. Amber is also survived by her many, many Haywood family members, too numerous to mention. Amber had many special friends in her life that loved her and we wish to remember as well. Amber graduated from Woodham High School, Pensacola, FL, in 1997, with highest honors. Amber received her undergraduate degree from the University of West Florida, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2001. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to a mental health program or a women’s rehabilitation program.
