Agnes "Granny" Gray
July 2, 1929 - May 6, 2022
Agnes (Granny) Gray went home to be with the Lord, on May 6, 2022, at the age of 92. Agnes, born in Elberta, Alabama, graduated from Toccoa Falls College where she met her husband, Ed Gray. She worked alongside Ed at the Waterfront Mission for 42 years. Her days began by walking in the park enjoying her East Hill neighbors. Granny’s one-of-a-kind love, life and ministry made an impact on others that will last for eternity. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed and 15 brothers and sisters. She is survived by five children, Jean, Leo, Donna, Gary and Angie, 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one sister. Funeral service will be held at Faith Chapel South on Friday, May 13 at 11:00am, preceded by a visitation at 10:00. Dr. Ted Traylor will be officiating. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be given to Olive Baptist Church or Waterfront Mission.
