Vincil Thomas Clark, Jr.

Vincil Thomas Clark Jr. was born on February 20th, 1944 at University Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. He was the second child born to Doris and Vincil Thomas Clark Sr. He attended Omaha North High School where he graduated in 1962. In 1962, Vincil enlisted in the United States Navy and served for 26 years receiving numerous awards and retiring at the prestigious ranking of Signalmen Chief Petty Officer. He continued his commitment to his country by joining the Department of Defense (DOD) in 1989. In 2006 he retired from DOD and was employed by Navy Federal Credit Union for an additional three years. Totaling 46 years in governmental services. In 1978 Vincil was united in marriage to the love of his life MaryLou Aguilar for thirty-seven wonderful years. They had the blessing of raising six children. Vincil, (known as “Junior” to family and close friends) will be remembered as an amazing husband, father and friend. His quick wit often keep people laughing and smiling. His spirit of adventure allowed him to achieve top ranking in many diverse endeavors. He authored advancement books for the military paving the way of success for others. “Junior” loved his cars, motorcycles, computers and Nebraska football. His playful nurturing side allowed him to interact through Disney movies with his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. His enormous personality and wealth of selflessness will be sorely missed by all. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Hampton Clark. He leaves to treasure his memories; wife Marylou Clark of Pensacola, FL; three sons, Christopher Clark Sr. (Yolanda) of Louisiana, MO; Roman Clark and Corey Clark Sr. (Martha) both of Pensacola, FL; three daughters, Darla Clark-Taliaferro (Jason) of Lake Saint Louis, MO; Marevic Clark of Pensacola, FL; step-daughter Marie Greenlee of Saint Louis MO; mother, Doris Clark-Avery of Omaha, NE; brothers, Ronald Clark (Macy) of LaVernia, TX, Roger Clark (Elaine) and Craig Clark Sr. (Renee) and Kelley Avery (Lisa) all of Omaha, NE; sister, Delores Ewing (John) of Omaha, NE; sister-in-law, Agnes Marasigan (Marcelino); brother-in-laws, Jojo Nocus and Jovito Nocus (Amy) of Pensacola, FL; nineteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; thirty-four nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins and special friends. Visitation will be held at Faith Chapel Funeral Home south on Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at NAS Chapel, Friday, May 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
