Patty Ann Rolett

Patty Ann Rolett, 58, of Pensacola went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 while at the UF Health Shands Hospital Blood and Marrow Transplant and Leukemia Service Cancer Center after a fearless and unwavering battle against Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL). She was born in Sioux City, Iowa, and is the daughter of the late Lawrence Christiansen and Bruce and Viola Meredith (Coburn). Mrs. Rolett was the Personalized Services Supervisor for the Pensacola Navy Exchange where she has served for the last 7 years. She was also employed at Walmart and McDonalds for approximately 15 years each respectively in her younger years. She has always worked in some area of customer service and management because of her high standards of integrity and joy of working with people. Her hobbies included reading her bible and daily scripture, attending church, having family dinners with her sister Gloria, playing games on her phone, and watching television since she had ample time while fighting her illness. She loved her family and friends more than anything and her unfaltering faith was her bedrock. She was predeceased by her husband, Danny Richard Rolett; her father, Lawrence Christiansen; and her sisters Debbie Kay Christiansen, Jane Elizabeth Christiansen, Marsha Kay Christiansen, Cheryl Lynn Christiansen; father and mother-in-law, Elton and Annie Rolett; brother-in-law, Bobby Andrew Rolett; and sister-in-law, Brenda Gail Rolett. She leaves behind, her daughter, U.S. Army Major Angela Marie Malikowski and son-in-law, Randy of Pensacola, FL; granddaughter, Morganne Anderlynne Butler of Pensacola, FL; grandson, Coyle Davis Malikowski of Wenatchee, WA; parents, Viola and Bruce Meredith of Pensacola, FL; one sister, Gloria Christiansen of Pensacola, FL; brothers, John Christiansen of Gulfport, MS; Dave Christiansen of Pensacola, FL; Terry Christiansen of Pensacola, FL; Bobby Christiansen of Pensacola, FL; sister-in-law Sue Bradner of Pensacola, FL; and vast other family, nieces and nephews, friends and loved ones. Honorary pallbearers will be David Christiansen Jr., Coyle Malikowski, Jacob Miller, Caleb Miller, and Liam Brescher. Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at 3:30pm prior to the 4:00 p.m. Celebration of Life in Patty Rolett’s honor with Pastor Jeremy Mount officiating at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South.
