Nelita Pacris Aurelio 1943-2016 Nelita Pacris Aurelio, a resident of Pensacola for 44 years, died peacefully on Sunday, September 11, 2016, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family. “Nellie” was a beautiful, fearless angel. She made this earth a better place with her generosity, kindness, and her unwavering spirit – inspiring everyone around her to do the same. Nellie was born on January 22, 1943 in Sanchez Mira Cagayan Philippines. She attended Far Eastern University and worked as a Medical Technologist at Sacred Heart Hospital for 30 years. She is loved by her ever faithful and dedicated husband of 47 years, Carmelito Aurelio and their children Noreen (Jared) Settipani, Christopher Aurelio, Carnell (Samantha) Aurelio, seven beautiful grandchildren, 8 brothers and sisters, in-laws, and nieces and nephews who will adore her until the end of time. Special and sincere thanks to the family and friends who have been so gracious and supportive to the Aurelio family during this time. And a heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, LA, Sacred Heart Hospital and Angels Home Health in Pensacola, FL for their support and care. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 19, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Reverend Father Dominic Phan Sa officiating. The burial will follow services in Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola, FL. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. Rosary will begin at 4:30 p.m. Active pallbearers: Meynardo Pacris, Bernardino Pacris, Jr., Roman Racelis, Jose Aurelio, Patrick Almogela, Meynard Pacris, Justin Racelis and Camron Aurelio. Honorary pallbearers: Librada Desembrana, Teresita Espiritu, Merlina Racelis, Rosalinda Almogela, Elizabeth Paradine, Lilian Eilers and Teresita Pacris.
