Karen Marie Diamond

Karen Marie Diamond, 81, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on March 14, 2024. She was born on October 2, 1942, in Point Pleasant, WV, to Burl and Marie Underwood, Karen lived a life marked by devotion to her family, her passion for art, and her service to her country. Karen is lovingly remembered by her son, Kevin Diamond (Laura), and daughter, Kandace Patel (Nash Patel). She leaves behind a legacy through her grandchildren, Dustin (Stephanie) Diamond, Amanda Diamond, Brittany Patel, and Jaiden Patel, as well as her great-grandchildren, Madison Owens, Dallas Carter Diamond, Bryce Thomas Diamond, Ensley Aaron Grice, and Maverick Exzavier Grice. Karen also leaves behind her brother, Danny (Connie) Underwood, sisters Sue Underwood, Donna (Phil) Heck, brother-in-law Michael Cooper, and numerous cherished nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death is her beloved husband, Dallas Diamond; her parents, Burl and Marie Underwood; her sister, Juanita Cooper; her brother, Merlin Underwood; and her nephew, Gabriel Stewart. After serving honorably in the US Navy, where she met her soulmate, Dallas, Karen embarked on a journey of creativity and entrepreneurship. She successfully ran a hair salon before dedicating herself fully to her true passion: art. Karen's artwork and paintings were not only a source of joy for her but also brought beauty to many through sales and art shows. Karen's love for her family knew no bounds. She was a steadfast presence at her children's, grandchildren's, and great-grandchildren's events, applauding their achievements and supporting them in every endeavor. Her passion for cooking and baking, alongside her treasured moments with family at the beach or playing in the yard, will be fondly remembered. The public viewing for Karen Marie Diamond will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 10:30-11:00 AM at Faith Chapel Funeral Home, located a 100 Beverly Parkway. Following the public viewing the service will be held at 11:00 AM. After the service, everyone is welcome to proceed to Barrancas National Cemetery for graveside services at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be directed to the Parkinson's Foundation at parkinsons.org. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Zandra Bohannon with Lending a Helping Hand with Zandra LLC for her invaluable assistance during this time.
