Julieta "Julie" C. Knight

Julie C. Knight was born in Capas, Tarlac Philippines on July 15, 1968. She was the third of seven children born to Conrado and Marieta Carreon. Julie completed her degree in Civil Engineering in the Philippines. Shortly after, she relocated to Hong Kong, China. While there, she met Pastor Samuel Knight and a long distance romance developed through letters and over the telephone. Over the next 14 months, love blossomed and Julie moved to Pensacola to be with Samuel. On July 25th 2001, Sam and Julie were joined in holy matrimony. Julie's pleasant personality caused her to have a large circle of friends and everyone loved her. Julie loved to help people, so often putting people before herself. Samuel and Julie were blessed with their daughter Christina in 2003. After the birth of her daughter, Julie started working at the JC Penny Corporation where she worked until she became ill and left on medical leave in April 2016. Julie loved gardening, she enjoyed flowers, and she truly loved being around family. Julie's impact will long be felt, and she will be on the hearts and minds. We will all miss her dearly. Julie, we love you. She is survived by her loving husband, Samuel Knight; daughter, Cristina Knight; parents, Conrado Carreon and Marieta A. Carreon; sisters, Josephine Baptiste (Dimitri), Joyce Yunting (Jhun) and Mary Jeane Haynes (David); brothers, Arnel Carreon (Amelia), Allan Carreon (Maricel) and Arnaldo Carreon (Donna Lisa); nieces and nephews, Janae Baptiste, Dimitri Baptiste, Kaydee Yunting, Allan Paul Carreon, Anna Marie Carreon and Shawn Godwinne Carreon. Pallbearers will be Isidore Knight, Clyde Knight, Stenson Knight, Arnaldo Carreon, Allan Carreon and Allan Paul Carreon. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Frye, Daniel Dale and Jess Rocafort. Visitation will be held at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Kenneth Lee officiating.
