Johnny Conrad Linderman Jr.

Father God opened his arms to John “Johnny” Conrad Linderman, Jr. on the 23rd of February, 2024. Our hearts are broken and we are profoundly saddened with the unexpected loss of such a dear man. Johnny was born in Groton, Massachusetts on the 20th of August, 1961. Johnny spent most of his life in northern and southern California. He graduated in 1979 from Mission San Jose High School in Fremont, CA. He was proud to serve 2 years in the U.S. Army from 1980 – 1982 and was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany. Johnny’s young adult life gifted him 2 sons, John and Preston. He was a very loving father, his boys looked up to him greatly. Most recently Johnny and his sons were working together to help grow the eldest son’s business in the health and wellness industry. Later in life, in 2008, Johnny met his “perfect for me” wife, Anita. True partners, the strength of their love made them an unbreakable team. Johnny was proud of the book he wrote about their relationship and hoped he could help others find their “perfect love.” Johnny was big-hearted and vibrant, he radiated light. He always found time to spread joy and happiness into the lives of anyone he met. An inspiration to his family and friends, he was the guiding light that motivated us to be the best versions of ourselves. A die-hard San Francisco Giants fan, Johnny was lucky enough to witness Matt Cain’s perfect game on June 13, 2012. Not only did he witness one of only 24 perfect games in MLB history, it was the very first time that Johnny attended a game at the San Francisco Giants’ then AT&T Park. Johnny’s favorite pastimes included golf trips with the guys, concerts of the world’s greatest bands and musicians, supporting the SF Giants and 49ers and belting out his favorite songs on the karaoke stage. Music, singing, laughter and love is what he mastered. Johnny and Anita dreamt of a retired life on Florida’s Emerald Coast. On their 1st wedding anniversary Johnny’s card to his bride included a one dollar bill, photos of their dream destination and the words “Here’s to Our Dream!” They’d recently made the move to Georgia for Anita’s career and had visited the Emerald Coast twice. From west coast to east coast, they were now even closer to their dream destination. Johnny was steadfast in his commitment to God. He was a devoted Christian who exemplified the virtues of love, kindness and selflessness. His unwavering faith in God helped him to navigate through his life’s most challenging moments. Johnny is preceded in death by his grandparents, Brevard & Irma Samworth, and Ernie & Leaoma Eigenheer. Johnny leaves behind his wife of almost 10 years, Anita Davis, his sons Johnny and Preston, his mother and step-father Joan & Ed Rose, his brothers Mark Renholts (Lauralee) and Robert Rose. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Faith Chapel South, 100 Beverly Pkwy in Pensacola, FL. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, March 8th at Faith Chapel South with procession and committal service immediately following. Johnny will be laid to rest at Barrancas National Cemetery.
