Jeb Ragsdale

Jeb Seaborn Ragsdale, 40, of Molino, passed away, Friday, February 17, 2023, surrounded by his family and friends. Jeb was born October 14, 1982, to James and Sally Ragsdale. Growing up, he was always interested in history and aviation. He took flying lessons as a teenager and had his solo flight at midnight on his sixteenth birthday. After graduation from high school, Jeb joined the Army and was deployed to Iraq. He did two tours overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was a specialist E4 and crew chief for Apache Helicopters. After his discharge from the Army, he returned to Afghanistan as a contractor. Jeb held various positions in aviation throughout his too-short life. The last 3 years were with Pensacola Air as Director of Maintenance. He lived life to the fullest, boating, fishing and having cookouts with his family and friends. Jeb is survived by his parents, James and Sally Ragsdale; his brother, Seth; his wife of 17 years, Tanya; his children, Chloe Adele, Douglas Russell, Peyton Elizabeth, and step-daughters, Alexis Maree, Sarah Renee (Reinhardt); his three grandchildren, Makaela, Judson and Greyson; maternal aunt, Pam (Ge Ge) Seaborn; nieces Laurie (Jordan), Ashley (Dawson), Harlie, Jennifer and Haley; his nephews, Brody, Michael, Tyler and Kenneth; his paternal uncles, Henry (Virginia) and Scott (Stephanie); his mother and father in law, Penny and Jim Mills; his sister and brother in law, Tamara and Scott Heck; his brother in law, John Mills and his lifelong best friend, Rob Larson. Jeb had many other extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. The family wishes to thank Jeb’s friend/boss, T.J. Zoltak for all that he has done. Also to the doctors and staff of Sacred Heart Neuro ICU for their excellent care. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 9:30 AM, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, with Pastor Brian Calhoun officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30 AM. Final resting place will be Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola, FL. Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, 1000 South Highway 29, Cantonment, is entrusted with arrangements.
