Don Lindgren, a cherished father, doting grandfather, beloved brother, and an avid lover of life, passed away on May 16, 2023. Don's departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his memory will forever be etched in the hearts of his loved ones. Born on July 22, 1955 in North Reading Massachusetts, Don was a beacon of love and strength for his three beautiful children, Jessica, Corey, and Kyle. He found immense joy in being a father and embraced his role with unwavering devotion. Don's love extended to his three amazing grandchildren, Armani, Kaia, and Kolani, who brought him immeasurable happiness. Don was a man who seized every opportunity to experience the world around him, and he truly never met a stranger. His love for life was contagious, and he lived each day to the fullest. One of his greatest passions was traveling to Boston to watch the Red Sox play, reminders of his youth and the games he watched long ago with his brothers and father. The thrill of being in the ballpark, surrounded by the energy of the game and the fans alike, brought him immense joy from a lifetime of memories. Family was paramount to Don as he leaves behind his brothers Craig, Stevie, and Gary. Each holding a special place in his heart, their bonds unbreakable. Don's nieces, Erika, Carly, and Tammy, nephews Robbie and Ryan were also dear to his heart and he took great pride in watching them grow and succeed. His stepfather Paul, also his best friend, was the one he leaned on when times were tough and provided guidance. As Don embarks on his journey to heaven, he is greeted with warm and loving embraces from his mother, Anna, his father, Corey, and his elder brother, Lance. Their reunion brings comfort to those left behind, knowing that Don is surrounded by the love of his family once again. Don Lindgren's zest for life, his infectious laughter, and his unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and shows everyone just how life is meant to be lived. A memorial service to celebrate Don's remarkable life will be held on Friday June 2 at Faith Chapel Funeral 100 Beverly Parkway Pensacola, Florida from 5-7. Funeral services Sunday June 4 at Georgetown Baptist Church 10651 Lott Rd Chunchula, Alabama Visitation 2-3 Funeral 3-4. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Don are invited to join together in sharing stories, laughter, and tears as they honor his memory. Although Don may no longer be physically present, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. May he find eternal peace, surrounded by the love and warmth of his family in heaven.
