Deborah Dianne Wilson January 29, 1949 - July 13, 2017 Deborah Dianne Wilson, beloved wife of Phillip Nelson Wilson went to be with her Lord on July 13, 2017. She was born in Pensacola, FL on January 29, 1949 to Maurice V. and Marjorie F. Dykes. Deborah is survived by her husband of 49 years Phillip N. Wilson; two sons, David (Tina) and Jonathan (Kristen) Wilson; five grandchildren, Kaycee, Clayton, Chase, Ashlee and Tristan Wilson; sister, Donna Jean Riley; and two brothers, David Dykes and Randall Dykes. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Debbie and her sisters, twin, Donna (Riley) and Pamela Gail (Hirn) sang together from an early age and were known as "In Hymn" in later years. Debbie was a Navy wife, and traveled all over the world with her husband Phil for 22 years, finally settling back in the Pensacola area from 1982 until her passing, and now is in her eternal home. She had a love of music and family. She was completely devoted to her grandchildren. She often said that if she knew how much fun grandkids were...she would have had them first. She enjoyed going on vacations with her extended family and loved going to the Smokies where we often stayed in a cabin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice V. Dykes and Marjorie F. Dykes; and her younger sister, Pamela Gail Hirn. Funeral services will be held at Bethel Baptist Church, 3097 Patricia Dr., Pensacola, FL on Wednesday, July 19 at 10:30AM. Visitation one hour earlier. Graveside services will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola at 12 noon. The pastor of Bethel Baptist Church, Bro. Wayne Cooper will be presiding over the services. A special thanks to Betty Kirvin, who provided care for Debbie the last year of her life. Also, a special thank you to Covenant Hospice who cared for Debbie these last few months. Pallbearers will be Clayton Wilson, Chase Wilson, Chris Riley, Seth Riley, Alan Moffitt and Al Riley. Honorary pallbearers are David Dykes, Randall Dykes, Bruce Hall and Earl Douglas. Flowers or donations to Bethel Baptist Church building fund either are welcome.
