Barbara Bonnie Kelly Vines

Barbara Vines, 85 of Cantonment, FL, peacefully left this earth for her Heavenly home on April 3, 2021. She was born in Soldier, Kansas on April 29, 1935 to the late Forest Kelly and Nellie L. LaCrone Kelly. She was born the sixth of nine children. Her family moved to Goodman, MO where Barbara graduated class of 1954 from Goodman High School. She accepted Jesus as her Savior at First Baptist Church, Goodman, MO. Barbara lived in ten different cities with her family for 26 years. She has lived in the Pensacola area since 1980. Barbara was always active in a local Southern Baptist Church. She also fostered children for over 12 years, caring for and loving them all. Barbara loved raising her family of 5 children, helping others, collecting, and visiting her family. Her talents were expressed in cooking, sewing, and crocheting. Barbara is now with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and her loved ones there. She is preceded in death by her parents, Forest Kelly and Nellie L. LaCrone Kelly; brother, Jack Kelly; sisters, Ruth Wimpey, Juanita Rice, Nadine Clingerman, Jean Rotramel, and Mary Lou McCrary; and grandson, Jonathan Vines and Daryl Junior “DJ” Vines. Barbara is survived 64 years by the love of her life, Drannon William Vines; children, Davene (Joe) Meehan, Danny (Carolyn) Vines, Dale Vines, Daryl Vines, and David (Aleks) Vines; grandchildren, Lisa (Doug) Smith, Chrissy Meehan, Robert (Karen) Meehan, Camille Meehan, Suzanne (CJ) Meehan, Danny (Karenza) Vines, Steven (Krista) Vines, Eric Vines, Tina Vines, Laura (Marcus) Frost, Stacie (Travis) Welch, Courtney Vines, Alexandria Vines, Gabrielle Vines, and Spencer Vines; great grandchildren, Blake Booth, Donna Blankenship, Kenji Smith, Lily Meehan, Diego Vines, Destiny Vines, Violet Vines, Nathan Vines, Kylie Vines, Shaylyn Vines, Jayden Vines, Emery Vines, Hayden Welch, Ellie Welch, and Carmia Brassfield. Visitation will be at 11AM, on Friday, April 9, 2021 followed by the service at 12noon. Pastor Darrell Black will officiate services. Burial will be in Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola, FL at 2PM. Please meet at the Warrington Campus of Olive Baptist Church at 1:35PM to escort into Barrancas. Pallbearers will be Danny Vines, Daryl Vines, David Vines, Danny Vines, Steven Vines, and Eric Vines.
