Addie Ruth Beasley Bush, age 86, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2024. Born on June 11, 1937, in Covington County, Alabama, she was the beloved daughter of Luie L. and Minnie Dell Godwin Beasley. Addie Ruth shared 68 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Edward E. “Billy” Bush, who preceded her in death. She was a dedicated homemaker and talented seamstress, known for her warm hospitality and skillful crafting. Her home was a haven for family, friends, and even the birds that visited her yard. A woman of deep faith, Addie Ruth was a member of East Brent Baptist Church. She also held esteemed positions as a Past Matron of Order of the Eastern Star No. 244 and a member of the York Rite Ladies Club. Her dedication to serving others left an indelible mark on her community. Addie Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Luie L. Beasley and Minnie Dell Godwin Beasley; as well as her brothers, Troy Beasley and Foy L. Beasley; sisters, Luria Chavers, Inez Stallings, Irene Kelly, Myrtle Tisdale, and Elizabeth Lowery; her husband, Edward E. “Billy” Bush; and great-great grandson, Xander Andrew Mitchell. She is survived by her brother, Ronald (Teresa) Beasley; her loving children, Ken (Sharon) Bush, Timothy Byron (Sally) Bush, and Cindy (Dan) Helms; her cherished grandchildren, Curtis (Lisa) Bush, Kyna (Lalo) Magana, Trina (Mark) Sizemore, Kevin Augustine, Cely (Marvin) Morales, Leron (Tori) Bush, and Cheryl Bush; numerous great-grandchildren, including Chase Hulsey, Tatyana Hulsey, Audrey Bush, Dustin Mitchell, Curtis Bush, Jr., Mikayla Bush, Ethan Magana, Miley Magana, Cydney Sizemore, Skyler Morales, Wyatt Morales, Emmy Dee Bush, and Theo Bush; as well as a great-great-grandchild, and name’s sake, Addie Ruth Bush. Additionally, she is survived by many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory dearly. Addie Ruth Beasley Bush will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, and unwavering love for her family and community. Her legacy of warmth and generosity will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. Services for Addie Ruth Beasley Bush will be held at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, Friday, March 15, 2024. The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Dr. Dale Patterson and Brother Ronald Beasley officiating.
