Jack loved his family and enjoyed having his children around him and other family events whether large family reunions or a small gathering.
Jack moved to Mobile, Alabama after school and began work in the food distribution industry. Later he was employed with Kraft Foods for 17 years before he decided on a career change. His motto was if one could make money for someone else, one could make money for himself.
He moved to Pensacola in the early 70’s and began a wholesale landscape business. He was the first to bring the decorative red lava rock into this area along with large decorative boulders. He soon branched into pavement maintenance and began his company, Asphalt-Sealcoating & Striping Co. in 1975. Jack loved this business and never wanted to give it up. He always wanted to make one more call, measure one more parking lot, and make one more sale. He took a lot of pride on his finished product and always wanted his customers to be satisfied.
The family wants to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Thomas Tan and his compassionate and professional staff at Woodlands and to Dr. Marty Heslin at UAB. We also thank Covenant Hospice for helping so much during the last days.
